Responsibilities

• Operate the PM4 rewinder machine as per standard operating procedures.
• Set and adjust rewinder parameters based on paper grade, reel size, and customer specifications.
• Ensure finished reels meet quality standards for winding, width, appearance, and packaging.
• Monitor slitting operations, knife settings, and width accuracy to minimize defects.
• Maintain proper web tension and reel hardness to prevent wrinkles, web breaks, and winding defects.
• Continuously monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities to the Shift Head or Maintenance team.
• Perform routine machine inspections and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Minimize broke generation, reel defects, and material losses during operations.
• Ensure accurate production records and shift documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, LOTO, TPM, 6S, and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in rewinder machine operations.
• Knowledge of reel winding principles and reel quality requirements.
• Understanding of slitting systems and width control.
• Knowledge of web handling and tension control.
• Familiarity with ABB drives, machine controls, and HMI operations.
• Knowledge of TPM, 5S/6S, safety practices, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and under production targets.
