PMC & Procurement Executive

Production Planning & Material Control (PMC)

• Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely material flow.
• Monitor material availability and follow up on shortages, delays, and urgent requirements to support production schedules.
• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) for materials required for production and coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure timely purchasing.
• Issue Work Orders (WO) and material requests to the Warehouse for picking and ensure timely material issuance to Production.
• Monitor production progress and highlight any potential delays or material constraints to relevant departments.
• Support the adjustment of production schedules according to customer requirements, rush orders, material availability, and production priorities.

Demand & Supply Planning

• Assist in monitoring customer demand, sales orders, forecasts, and production requirements.
• Work closely with Sales and Production teams to ensure demand and supply requirements are properly aligned.
• Monitor changes in customer demand and production requirements and update planning accordingly.
• Assist in analysing historical consumption and sales data to support material and production planning.
• Ensure sufficient material availability to support production while minimizing excess and slow-moving inventory.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to support production requirements.
• Work closely with Warehouse to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper material control.
• Assist in conducting cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete materials and highlight potential inventory risks.
• Coordinate material picking and issuance to Production according to production requirements.
• Support improvements in material storage, handling, and retrieval processes.

Procurement & Purchasing

• Handle day-to-day procurement activities for production materials, spare parts, consumables, and other assigned purchases.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, lead time, service, and delivery performance.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved Purchase Requisitions and company requirements.
• Follow up closely with suppliers on order confirmation, delivery schedules, and outstanding purchases.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery delays, shortages, quality issues, and other purchasing-related matters.
• Maintain proper purchasing records, supplier information, quotations, and related documentation.
• Assist in price comparison, quotation evaluation, and negotiation with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.
• Support the development and localization of new suppliers where required.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate PMC and procurement data in ERP/system records.
• Prepare regular reports on material shortages, outstanding PR/PO, inventory status, supplier delivery status, and production material requirements.
• Ensure timely updating of PR, PO, WO, inventory, and material planning information in the system.
• Support the preparation of KPI reports related to material availability, inventory, procurement, and supplier performance.

Requirements

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of working experience in PMC, Production Planning, Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of production planning, inventory management, procurement, and material control.

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Good communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks according to priorities.

• Good analytical and organizational skills.

• Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities as required.
