We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental status examinations and behavioral assessments for patients of all ages.
• Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining high-quality patient communication.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication administration while promoting adherence to prescribed therapies.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with current state licensure and DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
• Proven experience working with diverse populations across settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychopharmacology, and clinical assessment tools.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems; experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with patients of all ages.
• Additional skills in behavioral health interventions, case management, trauma-informed care, and familiarity with ICD coding are preferred.
