PMLD Teaching Assistant

We are partnered with a specialist SEN school in Trafford that is looking to recruit dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a Primary Model setting , working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The school would ideally prefer candidates with previous SEN experience; however, individuals who are enthusiastic, compassionate, and eager to develop their skills are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will

• Have experience working with pupils in a SEN setting, ideally supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students within a Primary Model environment.
• Have experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and communication needs.
• Be willing to provide personal care where required and support pupils with behaviours that may challenge.
• Have any other relevant experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
• Be flexible, patient, and resilient.
• Be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
