PMO & EEM Engineer (Junior Level)

Job Purpose

To support project management activities and energy efficiency initiatives by monitoring project progress, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, analyzing project performance, and driving continuous improvement in energy utilization, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management Office (PMO)

• Coordinate and monitor engineering and energy-related projects to ensure delivery within the approved scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, and action plans, ensuring timely follow-up with responsible stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal departments, engineering teams, contractors, and external consultants.
• Support project budget tracking, cost analysis, resource planning, and project documentation.
• Establish and improve project management processes, reporting standards, and performance indicators.

2. Energy Efficiency Management (EEM)

• Monitor and analyze energy consumption, energy costs, and energy performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption across facilities and operations.
• Support energy conservation projects, including feasibility studies, energy audits, and return-on-investment (ROI) assessments.
• Collect and analyze energy data to evaluate project performance and verify energy savings.
• Coordinate with engineering, facility, production, and sustainability teams to implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Support energy management reporting and compliance with relevant energy conservation requirements and company policies.

3. Reporting and Continuous Improvement

• Develop reports and dashboards to communicate project status, energy performance, cost savings, and key risks to management.
• Analyze project and energy-related data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Support standardization of best practices, operational procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other assignments related to project management and energy efficiency as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, engineering project management, energy management, or a related field.
• Experience in project tracking, data analysis, progress reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, energy conservation, and engineering systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, MS Project, or other project management tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in PMO, Energy Management, Sustainability, or Engineering Transformation projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 50001, energy audits, energy performance indicators, and ROI/payback analysis.
• Experience in preparing management dashboards and presenting project updates to senior management.
