What they need

About the role Arabian Private Holdings requires a PMO Intern to support the delivery of high stakes mandates for our principal advisors. This role exists to organize the flow of information and maintain the rigor of our project documentation across several complex workstreams. For this specific engagement, you will support our work with a Sharjah-based organization as they refine their governance and corporate structure.

About Arabian Private Holdings We founded our firm on the principle that critical business problems do not require large consulting teams or excessive methodologies. A board facing a succession question or a family group considering a major capital injection needs experienced partners who can form a rigorous view and defend it. We take on a limited number of mandates to ensure every client receives direct attention from the principals who are actually accountable for the outcome. Our work covers corporate strategy, governance, and operating model efficiency for significant holding companies and government entities. We focus on clarity over complexity and operate as a fully remote firm to prioritize analysis and relationship strength over traditional office overhead.

What you will do

  • Assist in tracking the progress of specific mandates for our Sharjah-based client to ensure all project milestones are documented clearly.
  • Conduct research on corporate governance best practices and industry benchmarks to support the development of new operating models.
  • Maintain project logs and status reports that allow principals to have an immediate view of workstream health.
  • Prepare summary notes from meetings that capture decisions, action items, and the logical basis for every recommendation.
  • Gather and organize data from various client departments to help our team build a factual foundation for strategic advice.
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials that emphasize clear writing and logical flow over visual flair.
  • Coordinate schedules and internal deadlines across a remote team to keep complex projects moving forward.
  • Review project documents for clarity and consistency to ensure our firm's high standards are met in every piece of communication.

What we are looking for

  • A strong ability to think logically and break down complex problems into manageable parts.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on brevity and precision in English.
  • A university student or recent graduate with a background in business, economics, or a related field.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and attention to detail.
  • Curiosity about how large holding companies and government entities manage their portfolios and governance structures.
  • A disciplined approach to organization and a commitment to keeping project records accurate.
  • Willingness to learn from senior partners and accept direct, constructive feedback on your work.

How we work We operate as a fully remote firm, which means we rely heavily on written clarity and disciplined communication. Our team members work from wherever they are most effective, focusing on the quality of their output rather than the hours spent at a desk. Because we are a principal-led organization, interns have the opportunity to observe how experienced advisors handle complex mandates and high-level governance issues. We prioritize mentoring through active participation in real projects, giving you a front-row seat to how decisions are made at the highest levels of corporate strategy. Our culture is professional and sober, valuing honest, independent advice over pleasing a client with easy answers.

What the role offers

  • Direct exposure to the working methods of senior partners who lead significant regional mandates.
  • A competitive monthly stipend that is attractive for an internship in the current market.
  • The flexibility of a fully remote role that allows you to manage your own workspace and schedule.
  • Practical experience in project management and corporate governance within the context of a Sharjah-based entity.
  • Development of professional writing and analytical skills that are applicable in any high-level corporate environment.
