Pmo Lead

Role & responsibilities

Lead end-to-end program execution within QCD (quality, cost and delivery) targets by ensuring right coordination with customer, engineering team, manufacturing, quality, purchase and finance teams.

• Establish program governance, timelines, and milestone tracking mechanisms.
• Ensure smooth execution from development to production readiness.
• Manage stakeholder communication, including leadership and customer updates.
• Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation plans.
• Oversee and ensure implementation of engineering changes across functions.
• Support plant readiness, production ramp-up, and operational stabilization.
• Drive structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple programs through structured PMO frameworks.
• Monitor KPIs (quality, cost, delivery) and take corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to APQP, PPAP, and stage-gate processes.
• Coordinate with plant teams for manufacturing and launch readiness.
• Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and compliance.
• Facilitate alignment across cross-functional and cross-location teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in program execution processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong leadership and cross-functional team management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications:

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering / Electronics and Communication.
• 12 - 14 years of experience in automotive industry.
• Strong experience in program/project management.
• Hands-on on powertrain, transmission, or driveline systems preferred.
