PMO Lead

Kurtosys gives asset and wealth managers a data and content platform to build and distribute their sales, marketing and client reporting materials. We've been doing it since 2002, from four offices around the world. We're ISO 27001 certified, work with up to date technology, and encourage our people to use their initiative and share their ideas.

Why this role exists:

Every client we bring on starts with a project. As our portfolio grows, we need a senior delivery leader who can shape how we run those projects, lead the people who run them, and make sure each one lands on time, on budget and with the margin we planned for. You'll report to our Head of Solutions and be the senior voice for delivery across Client Services.

What you'll get to do:

• Shape how we deliver. Own our delivery approach end to end, including stage gates, standards and tooling. Run intake and prioritisation, so you have a real say in what work starts and when.
• Stay close to the work. Run your own client projects from kick off to launch and handover, for around half your time. In your first few months you'll be fully hands on, the best way to learn our platform and clients.
• Own the commercials. Lead scope and change control, track margin and milestone billing, and work with finance on statements of work and pricing. You'll see, and shape, whether the work we do is the work we get paid for.
• Build a strong team. Line manage and develop our project managers using our CSD career ladder, and help decide who we hire as the team grows.
• Plan for sustainable delivery. Own capacity planning and the mix of internal and partner resources, so workloads are planned rather than absorbed.

What success looks like:

Projects delivered on time and to scope, margin recovered against plan, happy clients, a shorter path from contract signature to launch, and a project management team that's engaged and growing.

This is a chance to build a PMO, not just inherit one. You'll have a direct line to leadership through regular portfolio reporting and lead client steering committees with senior stakeholders. We promote from within wherever we can, and you'll have access to learning platforms to keep growing.

What you'll need

• 10+ years in project or programme delivery in software or SaaS.
• 3+ years leading a team of project managers.
• A track record of owning portfolio commercials: budgets, margin, change control and billing.
• Hands on capacity planning across several projects at once.
• Experience managing third party delivery partners or contractors.
• Confidence running steering committees and handling senior escalations.
• Strong communication and a clear way of tracking actions, owners and deadlines.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Commerce.
• PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or a similar certification.

Nice to have

• Experience setting up or maturing a PMO.
• Agile and hybrid delivery experience.
• Knowledge of asset management, fund data or regulatory reporting.
• Experience leading teams across locations and time zones.
