PMO Manager (Software)

JOB DESCRIPTION-PROJECT MANAGEMENT CUM BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

This role is responsible for delivering IT and digital projects within agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards, while identifying and developing new business opportunities for RunCloud. Working within a tender and project-based engagement model, the role connects client requirements, commercial proposals and project execution to support business growth, client satisfaction and the company's strategic goals.

What we expect from you:

Project Management

1. Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, development and integration coordination, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, rollout and handover.

2. Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, milestones and resource schedules; monitor progress and

manage scope changes through agreed approval processes.

3. Maintain project management standards, governance, documentation and reporting in line with company policies and client requirements, including government or public sector requirements where applicable.

4. Coordinate internal teams, vendors and clients; track risks, dependencies, issues and testing defects, and ensure timely mitigation, resolution and escalation.

5. Provide regular stakeholder updates, secure deliverable acceptance and coordinate project closure and lessons learned.

Business Development

1. Identify and qualify new business opportunities, tenders and potential partnerships aligned with RunCloud's services and delivery capabilities.

2. Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients; understand their needs and identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling and cross-selling.

3. Coordinate proposals, quotations, presentations and tender submissions with technical and finance teams, ensuring clear scope, realistic timelines, appropriate pricing and submission compliance.

4. Support commercial discussions and negotiations within approved authority; coordinate the handover of agreed commitments into project delivery.

5. Maintain an opportunity pipeline and provide updates on prospects, proposals, forecasts and progress against agreed business development targets.

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in IT project management, with demonstrated exposure to business development, client management or tender preparation; government or public sector project experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver IT projects across the full lifecycle, with strong governance, documentation, risk management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to translate client needs into feasible solutions and compelling proposals, with sound commercial awareness of pricing, costs and project profitability.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to balance project delivery priorities and business development activities.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
