PMO Manager (TX DIR)

For our client, we are seeking a PMO Manager (TX DIR) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will oversee complex project management activities across a major government IT contract, ensuring execution stays aligned with program objectives, deliverables, and timelines. The PMO Manager will guide customer engagement, solution design, and implementation efforts while coordinating across multiple stakeholders and service towers. This position is well suited for a highly organized leader who can operate effectively in a multi-vendor environment and help drive successful transitions into operational services.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $112,000 – $179,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Oversee project management, customer engagement, and implementation activities across the contract
• Govern solution design and manage the Request for Solution process
• Lead the execution of service evolution initiatives throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure contract deliverables are managed effectively and timelines are met
• Facilitate customer agency engagement and onboarding processes
• Provide oversight of implementations for smooth transitions into operational services
• Coordinate project activities and stakeholder engagement across multiple service towers

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• 8+ years of program and project management experience with government IT contracts
• Proven track record managing multiple large-scale IT implementation projects
• Strong expertise in government program and project management practices
• Experience navigating formal project deliverables and compliance in government IT frameworks
• Background in multi-vendor/MSI environments
• Familiarity with ITIL service management processes and ServiceNow tools
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with government stakeholders
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
