PMO / Project Manager – Investment & MiFID

We are looking for a senior PMO / Project Manager to support strategic projects within an Investment environment for a leading financial institution in Belgium.

The role will focus on coordinating complex transformation and regulatory initiatives, ensuring alignment between business teams, IT, Compliance, Risk and Operations. The candidate will contribute to the successful delivery of projects related to investment activities and MiFID-related topics.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end project activities, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline and budget;

• Support project governance, including reporting, steering committees and status updates;

• Manage project planning, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies;

• Coordinate stakeholders across Business, IT, Compliance, Risk and Operations teams;

• Translate business needs into structured project deliverables;

• Support regulatory and transformation initiatives within Investment domains;

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between different teams;

• Contribute to process improvements and implementation of new solutions.

• Proven experience as a PMO, Project Manager or Program Manager within financial services;

• Strong knowledge of Investment, Asset Management, Wealth Management or Private Banking environments;

• Experience with MiFID II or other regulatory projects is highly appreciated;

• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders;

• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills;

• Ability to work with both business and IT teams;

• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies;

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong asset for the Belgian market.
