What they need


A Belgian federal public organisation active in the health and social-security sector is looking for an experienced PMO / Project Portfolio Manager to strengthen the governance and steering of its IT project portfolio.

You will sit at the heart of the PMO, bringing structure and visibility to a multi-project environment. You ensure portfolio governance, maintain consolidated dashboards and reporting for management, and help prioritise initiatives in line with strategic objectives. You support project and program managers with PPM methodology and Prince2 best practices, track budgets, planning and risks, and act as a key facilitator of business–IT alignment across teams.

A typical week mixes portfolio follow-up, preparation of steering committees, dashboard updates and close coordination with stakeholders. You work largely within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, to keep documentation and reporting accurate and accessible.

This is a stimulating, high-visibility role within a stable public-sector environment where rigour and pragmatism are valued. The mission is open on a freelance basis depending on profile.

Profile wanted


1) Proven medior experience as PMO / Project Portfolio Manager, ideally within large or public organisations | 2) Solid command of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Prince2 methodology | 3) Hands-on experience with portfolio governance, prioritisation and consolidated reporting | 4) Ability to build and maintain clear management dashboards and KPIs | 5) Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint | 6) Trilingual FR / NL / EN, minimum level C1 | 7) Structured, autonomous and a natural facilitator of business–IT alignment
