The PMO Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic management of projects within the Aerospace sector. This position is crucial for ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and managerial acumen, driving project success through meticulous planning, execution, and delivery. This role demands a proactive individual who can navigate complex aerospace challenges while fostering a collaborative environment.

Experience Required Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project management activities for aerospace projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop and enforce project management methodologies and best practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of project goals.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitate project planning sessions and create detailed project plans.
• Track project budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective project execution.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and implement improvements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualification Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the aerospace industry.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations and standards.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
