PO Processing Specialist

Compliant Business Processing is seeking a PO Processing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and processing purchase orders with precision and efficiency, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely. This plays a critical part in maintaining the smooth flow of our supply chain operations and contributing to our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

• Processing incoming purchase orders from clients and internal departments with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reviewing purchase orders for completeness, compliance and accuracy before entry into the system
• Data entry and management of purchase order information into relevant software systems and databases
• Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to confirm order details, delivery dates and pricing
• Tracking and monitoring purchase order status throughout the fulfilment cycle
• Preparing and distributing purchase order confirmations and documentation to relevant stakeholders
• Resolving discrepancies and issues related to purchase orders in a timely manner
• Maintaining organised records of all purchase orders and related documentation
• Communicating with warehouse teams to ensure orders are processed and dispatched correctly
• Supporting month-end and period-end closing processes related to purchase order activities

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Customs Administration or other related courses.

• Knowledgeable in EDI or incoterms.

• Cargowise One experience is a must.

• Thorough understanding of international shipping processes, documentation requirements and customs clearance procedures

• Proven experience in purchase order processing or similar administrative roles within a warehousing, distribution or logistics environment

• Strong proficiency in data entry with excellent accuracy and attention to detail

• Competency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and purchase order management software

• Solid understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
