Duties

• Edit and assemble podcast audio and video content using industry-standard media editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid, and Adobe Audition.
• Enhance episodes with motion graphics, visual storytelling elements, color correction editing, and sound design to create immersive listening and viewing experiences.
• Manage post-production processes including audio leveling, noise reduction, sound effects integration, and video color grading to ensure professional quality.
• Incorporate graphic design and typography elements using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects to produce engaging visual components for episodes.
• Collaborate with content creators to develop compelling storylines and ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all media formats.
• Utilize content management systems (CMS) and FTP platforms for efficient file transfer, storage, and organization of media assets.
• Stay current with emerging trends in video storytelling, media editing tools like Maya or Cinema 4D for 3D animation or motion graphics when applicable, and best practices in lighting for video production.

Experience

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling through multimedia content.
• Technical proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer or similar software.
• Familiarity with audio processing tools such as Adobe Audition or Pro Tools for high-quality sound editing.
• Knowledge of color correction editing techniques and post-production workflows for both audio and video projects.
• Experience with videography or filming is advantageous but not mandatory; a keen eye for visual storytelling is essential.
• Ability to manipulate photos through photo editing software like Lightroom or Capture One to support visual narratives.
• Understanding of media editing tools including Maya or Cinema 4D for advanced animation projects is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing large media libraries via CMS platforms or FTP servers.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and content creators.
