About the podcast

Where Strength Meets Grace is a new podcast exploring motherhood, fitness, confidence, womanhood, identity and empowerment.

The podcast will feature honest conversations with women about real life, motherhood, fitness, relationships, confidence and becoming the woman they want to be.

I’m looking for a creative and reliable university student, recent graduate or freelance editor to help bring the podcast to life.

This is an exciting opportunity to become involved with a new podcast from the very beginning, with the potential for ongoing work as the podcast grows.

The role

For each episode, you’ll be responsible for helping turn the recorded material into polished, engaging content.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Editing full-length video podcast episodes
• Cleaning and balancing audio
• Removing mistakes, awkward pauses and unnecessary sections
• Adding a professional intro and outro
• Adding simple branding, titles and graphics
• Preparing episodes for YouTube and podcast platforms
• Creating approximately 3–5 short-form clips per episode for Instagram and TikTok
• Adding captions/subtitles to short-form videos
• Identifying strong, interesting or emotional moments that would work well on social media
• Exporting content in the appropriate formats
• Maintaining a consistent visual style across episodes

There may also be opportunities for someone local to assist with filming and studio setup in West Yorkshire.

Who we’re looking for

You may be a university student studying:

• Film & TV
• Media Production
• Digital Media
• Journalism

• Content Creation

Or you may simply have strong practical experience in video and audio editing.

• Has experience using editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar
• Has a good understanding of short-form social media content
• Has an eye for storytelling, pacing and presentation
• Is creative and able to make suggestions
• Is reliable and able to meet agreed deadlines
• Takes pride in producing high-quality work
• Is comfortable working with sensitive and personal conversations
• Is interested in motherhood, fitness, women’s wellbeing or personal development

You do not need years of professional experience.

If you’re talented, enthusiastic and can demonstrate your skills through previous work, we’d love to hear from you.

What we’re offering

• Paid freelance work
• Flexible hours
• Opportunity to work on a brand-new podcast from the beginning
• Potential for regular ongoing work
• Opportunity to build your portfolio
• Creative input into the development of the podcast
• Potential to become part of the wider production team as the podcast grows
