🧰 About the Role As a Podiatrist you will assess, diagnose, and treat conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower limb. Caseloads range from routine and high-risk foot care through to biomechanics, orthotic prescription, and sports injury management.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities: ➤ Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower limb ➤ Deliver high-risk foot care including diabetic foot assessment, wound debridement, and offloading

➤ Perform biomechanical assessment and gait analysis, and prescribe custom and prefabricated orthoses ➤ Carry out nail surgery under local anaesthetic where credentialled ➤ Manage sports and musculoskeletal lower limb injuries

➤ Educate patients on footwear, self-care, and prevention of recurrence ➤ Liaise with GPs, endocrinologists, vascular surgeons, and wound care teams ➤ Maintain clinical records and outcome measures to Australian standards

✅ To Qualify, You Must Have:

➤ Bachelor or Master degree in Podiatry or Podiatric Medicine from a recognised institution ➤ Minimum 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience ➤ Eligibility for registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia through Ahpra, including overseas qualification assessment where required

➤ Experience in high-risk foot care or biomechanics is highly regarded ➤ Current registration or licence to practise in your home jurisdiction, in good standing ➤ English language proficiency meeting the relevant board and Department of Home Affairs requirements
