Eastern Health is one of Victoria's largest public health services. As a values-led, integrated service united by our Healthier Together promise, we deliver high-quality care, support and service to a broad and diverse community across Melbourne's east and beyond.

About the role

As a Grade 2 Podiatrist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based podiatry care to patients across a range of clinical settings, drawing on your specialist knowledge and experience to achieve the best possible outcomes. Working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will also contribute to teaching, mentoring, service improvement, research and quality initiatives that enhance patient care and clinical practice.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new and innovative model of care within our general medical wards, with a key focus on high-risk foot management. As part of Eastern Health's Podiatry team, an accredited iHRFS Centre of Excellence with the National Association of Diabetes Centres, you will work closely with medical teams including endocrinology, vascular, infectious diseases and orthopaedics to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.

What you'll bring

  • Recognised tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  • Eligibility for membership with the Australian Podiatry Association.
  • Demonstrated high level clinical skills and commitment to evidenced based practice.
  • A strong commitment to patient-centred, high-quality care.

What we offer

Being part of Eastern Health means belonging to a welcoming team of healthcare experts. We offer a range of benefits including:

  • Investment in your career through continuous learning, mentoring, professional development, and opportunities to progress into specialist, leadership or advanced practice pathways.

  • Work-life balance with flexible working arrangements, study and professional development leave, and leave purchasing options.

  • Wellbeing support through fitness programs, confidential employee assistance services for you and your family, and 24/7 access to a range of support resources.

  • Financial incentives to help you make the most of your earnings, including salary packaging through Maxxia, novated leasing options, and employee discounts on health insurance, banking and more.
