Responsibilities

• Engage with community members through face-to-face conversations, ensuring clear and respectful communication
• Distribute campaign materials and informational flyers using mobile devices for data collection and reporting
• Identify voter preferences and gather feedback to support campaign strategies
• Build rapport with diverse community members by demonstrating active listening and conversational engagement
• Participate in outdoor work environments, walking extensively across different neighborhoods to maximize outreach efforts
• Collaborate with team members to meet outreach goals and coordinate community events or meetings when needed

Skills

• Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or community outreach roles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in meaningful conversations face-to-face
• Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
• Bilingual abilities to connect with diverse populations are highly valued
• Customer service background enhances your ability to handle varied interactions professionally
• Experience with fundraising or political campaigning adds valuable context to your outreach efforts
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods, walking across neighborhoods using transportation methods such as walking or public transit
