Duties

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in neighborhoods to inform residents about campaign initiatives and encourage voter participation
• Engage in face-to-face conversations with community members using strong communication skills and conversational engagement techniques
• Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update voter information, and track outreach progress efficiently
• Promote campaign messages through outdoor work, walking extensively in assigned areas while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Assist in fundraising efforts by encouraging community support and explaining campaign goals to potential donors
• Coordinate with team members to organize community events and outreach activities that maximize voter engagement
• Apply negotiation skills to address questions or concerns from residents while maintaining respectful dialogue

Experience

• Prior field sales or canvassing experience preferred, especially in outdoor or door-to-door environments
• Strong customer service background with excellent face-to-face communication skills
• Experience in community engagement or grassroots campaigning highly desirable
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse populations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently outdoors for extended periods while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism
• Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership roles within outreach teams
• Knowledge of marketing strategies, telemarketing techniques, or fundraising practices is advantageous
