About the role
Ensure that the organization adheres to all environmental laws, regulations, and standards set by relevant authorities, such as the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, collect environmental samples, and analyze data to monitor pollution levels
- Prepare detailed reports on pollution incidents and compliance status for government agencies
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste generation and pollution
- Supervise the operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities
- Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication regarding environmental compliance and best practices
About you
- Graduate of Chemical Engineer or BS Chemistry with license
- Knowledgeable in wastewater treatment, environmental laws of LLDA & DENR
- Good monitoring & reporting skills
