Pollution Control Officer

We are looking for a DENR-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for environmental compliance, pollution control, waste management, and coordination with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable Philippine environmental laws and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine environmental laws, regulations, permits, and DENR-EMB requirements.
• Monitor and manage air emissions, wastewater, solid waste, and hazardous waste.
• Implement environmental management programs and pollution control measures at the project site.
• Conduct regular environmental inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Prepare and submit required environmental reports, including Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR).
• Coordinate with DENR-EMB and other government agencies for inspections, permits, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure proper segregation, storage, handling, transport, and disposal of waste.
• Monitor environmental permits and maintain proper compliance documentation and records.
• Conduct environmental awareness orientations and training for employees and contractors.
• Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist in environmental audits, assessments, and other regulatory compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Must be a DENR-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in environmental management, construction, industrial operations, or related fields.
• Experience working in a Wind Power BOP Construction is a plus
• Knowledge of Philippine environmental laws, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.
• Experience in waste management, environmental monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with DENR-EMB requirements and SMR preparation.
• Strong documentation, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with employees, contractors, and government agencies.
• Willing to work on-site and perform field environmental monitoring activities.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
