Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Polymer Scientist with 2–3 years of experience in a chemical or materials science laboratory environment. The candidate will contribute to the design, synthesis, manufacturing, characterization, and testing of polymer-based sensors and advanced materials, while ensuring QMS-compliant documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and development of polymer based sensors.
• Design and development of manufacturing facility for sensors.
• Conduct polymer synthesis, formulation, and characterization experiments for sensor and material development.
• Perform analytical testing (viscosity, UV-Vis spectroscopy, DSC, GPC, etc.) to evaluate polymer properties and performance.
• Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation aligned with QMS and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, biologists, and regulatory specialists to support product development and validation.
• Investigate structure–property relationships in polymers to optimize sensor performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and relevant regulatory standards in all laboratory activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent)
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory environment.
• Experience in synthesis of polymers.
• Strong knowledge of polymer characterization techniques.
• Proficiency in operating instruments such as viscometer, UV spectrometer, and other analytical equipment.
• Familiarity with QMS documentation and regulatory compliance in a laboratory setting.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
