Polymer Field Technician

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Polymer Field Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting the field application of polymer gel systems, offset well testing, as well as equipment, truck, and trailer maintenance, and troubleshooting in the field. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work hands-on in diverse oilfield environments, asisting in the field application of polymer gel treatments for water shutoff in producing wells, Injection well conformance and profile modification treatments in waterfloods, CO2 floods and WAG floods. You will also assist in in polymer gel You will be responsible for ensuring safety protocols are followed, operating company vehicles and equipment, loading, transferring or unloading product, and providing exceptional customer service to clients during the job, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Travel throughout North America, including Canada.

Duties

• Work 12 hour shifts (plus drive time) in remote field locations operating highly-specialized polymer gel blending and injection equipment as required or directed.
• Perform on-site polymer application projects using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain safe working standards.
• Extensive overnight travel required!
• Conduct equipment and vehicle cleaning and maintenance tasks as required each day.
• Operate company vehicles safely for project transportation and on-call coverage while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to proper cleaning procedures during and after projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently and professionally.
• Qualifications:
• Must pass background check.
• Pre-employment and random drug testing are required.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and safely.
• Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement is a plus!
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting clients during stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on safety protocol adherence at all times.
• Previous oilfield pressure pumping or chemical blending and injection experience a plus,

Pay: $26.10 - $31.43 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
