Duties

• Perform routine cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls and floors to maintain optimal water quality.
• Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues or malfunctions.
• Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular water testing and adjust chemical levels to maintain proper pH and sanitizer balance.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules.
• Identify potential mechanical problems early and troubleshoot using your technical knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures for pools, ensuring all systems are properly prepared for use or storage.

Experience

• Prior experience in pool cleaning or maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair or servicing is highly desirable.
• Service technician experience involving the use of hand tools and power tools will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and water testing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $500.00 - $650.00 per week
