Pool Cleaner Experienced Required - Full-Time/Part-Time

About the role

The Pool Centre Sydney is seeking an experienced Pool Cleaning Technician to join our growing team in Brookvale, NSW. This is a full-time/part-time position where you will be responsible for maintaining swimming pools to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety. Your expertise in pool maintenance will be vital to ensuring our clients' pools remain in pristine condition year-round. This role offers the opportunity to work independently whilst being part of a supportive and professional team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Performing routine pool cleaning including skimming debris, brushing walls and floors, and vacuuming pools
• Testing and balancing pool water chemistry, including chlorine levels, pH and alkalinity
• Emptying and cleaning skimmer baskets and pump strainer baskets
• Operating and maintaining pool filtration systems and pumps
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or equipment faults to management
• Providing professional advice to customers regarding pool care and maintenance
• Maintaining detailed records of pool maintenance and chemical treatments
• Conducting opening and closing procedures for pools as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Pool Cleaner or in a similar pool maintenance role

• Strong knowledge of pool chemistry and water treatment standards

• Familiarity with pool equipment, filtration systems and maintenance tools

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour regularly

• Reliable, professional attitude with strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience

• Current driving licence
