Pool Construction Foreman

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pool Construction Foreman to lead and oversee the installation of high-quality residential and commercial swimming pools. In this role, you will coordinate construction activities, manage teams of skilled workers, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily pool construction operations, including excavation, plumbing, steel work, gunite/shotcrete application, tile setting, and finishing.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and crew members to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to facilitate accurate execution of projects.
• Conduct regular safety meetings in compliance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations; enforce safety protocols on-site.
• Review and interpret construction contracts, specifications, and technical documents to ensure project compliance.
• Maintain quality control by inspecting work at various stages, troubleshooting issues promptly, and ensuring adherence to building codes and regulations.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and report on project progress.
• Lead team management efforts including crew management, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project flow from start to finish.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial or residential construction management with a focus on pool projects.
• Strong background in construction site management with hands-on supervision of crews in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling, proficient in managing project timelines.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and federal safety regulations specific to construction sites; experience implementing safety programs.
• Skilled in managing budgets; experience controlling costs effectively.
• Supervisory experience managing teams of tradespeople; excellent managerial communication skills essential for team leadership.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
