Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pool Construction Front End Superintendent to lead the early phases of large-scale pool projects. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of initial construction activities, ensuring seamless execution from groundbreaking through to the start of construction. Your expertise will drive project success by managing teams, coordinating schedules, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Duties

• Lead and supervise front-end construction teams, including subcontractors and labor crews, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance on-site.
• Develop and coordinate detailed project schedules using Buildertrend or similar construction management software to align with project timelines.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to facilitate accurate planning and resource allocation.
• Manage procurement processes, including reviewing contracts and purchase orders via Procore or Prolog platforms, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Oversee site safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards, conducting regular safety audits.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review project scope, budgets, and schedules for initial phases of pool construction projects.
• Monitor quality control measures throughout the front-end phase, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction management software Buildertrend.
• Strong background in heavy civil or commercial construction site management with a focus on pool or similar large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and technical documents accurately.
• Excellent project scheduling skills coupled with a solid understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
• Effective communication skills for managing subcontractors, clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Skilled in supervising safety protocols, quality assurance processes, budgeting oversight, and schedule coordination throughout the front-end phase.
• Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations along with experience supervising crews on large-scale projects.
