Description:

To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section‘s Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. Estimated pay range for this position is $40.50 / hour depending on shift as applicable.

Qualifications:

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.

Additional Qualifications:

• Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedures including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding, microtomy and staining.
• TN – Clinical Laboratory Technologist or SU – Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required.
• Either license must have qualification in histology technologist.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
