Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of pool plumbing systems, filters, pumps, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals responsibly, ensuring proper chemical levels for safe swimming conditions.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and maintaining surrounding areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Operate company vehicles and specialized tools safely to transport equipment or supplies to various aquatic facilities.
• Monitor water quality using testing kits or electronic devices; adjust chemical levels as needed to meet health regulations.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks such as replacing worn parts, lubricating mechanical components, and performing preventive upkeep on pool systems.

Requirements

• Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately follow chemical agent handling protocols.
• Prior aquatic facility experience is preferred; familiarity with pool chemistry balancing is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills to assist patrons or clients professionally when needed.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles or similar equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions; previous outdoor work experience is advantageous.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail in cleaning routines and safety procedures to ensure a pristine environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
