Pay: $900.00 - $1300.00 per week (based on experience)

Job Summary

Palmway Pools is seeking an experienced and dependable Pool Service Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of professional pool service experience who can work independently, maintain high service standards, and provide excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience with pool cleaning, water chemistry, equipment inspections, and identifying potential issues before they become major problems. This position involves working outdoors, managing a service route, and ensuring pools remain clean, safe, and operating properly.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly pool cleaning and maintenance services
• Test, balance, and adjust pool water chemistry
• Brush pool walls, vacuum pools, skim debris, and empty baskets
• Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, and other equipment
• Identify and report equipment issues or repair recommendations
• Perform routine maintenance such as filter cleanings and salt cell inspections
• Maintain accurate service records and notes
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs and recommendations
• Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional pool service experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of pool chemistry and water testing
• Ability to diagnose common pool equipment issues
• Ability to work independently and manage a service route efficiently
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pentair, Hayward, and Jandy equipment
• CPO Certification preferred but not required
• Repair experience is a plus
