Duties

• Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces to ensure cleanliness and clarity.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues and perform repairs or schedule maintenance.
• Balance pool chemistry by testing water quality and adjusting chemical levels using appropriate agents while adhering to safety protocols for chemical handling.
• Service plumbing systems associated with pools, ensuring proper operation of water flow and drainage components.
• Operate company vehicles safely to travel between job sites, delivering timely service while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
• Use hand tools and power tools for equipment repair, maintenance tasks, and installations with precision and care.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain services performed, address questions, and provide recommendations for ongoing pool care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations with a strong understanding of pool chemistry balancing.
• Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with water treatment chemical handling and safety procedures.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and safely.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for repairs or installations.
• Previous service technician experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in developing their skills further.

Pay: $22.50 - $27.35 per hour
