Job Summary

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and emptying skimmer baskets.
• Balance pool chemistry by testing water quality and adjusting chemical levels such as chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizers to maintain safe water conditions.
• Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment using hand tools and power tools; perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
• Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately according to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport tools, chemicals, and equipment between job sites while adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience with pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment.
• Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely with proper understanding of chemical agent handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or facility staff.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions; comfortable performing physical tasks that require standing, bending, or lifting.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting pool equipment issues quickly and effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
• Knowledge of pool chemistry balancing techniques and routine cleaning procedures using hand tools and power tools.
