Overview

Pool Warriors is a family-owned pool service company serving the Houston area since 2020. We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Pool Technician to take ownership of an established weekly residential pool route and grow with our company.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing things right, and notices when something needs attention without having to be told every step.

Your main responsibility will be taking care of the customers and pools on your weekly route. We’re a small team, though, so we’re looking for someone who is willing to communicate, troubleshoot problems, and pitch in when repairs, customer issues, or other needs come up.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete your assigned weekly pool route Monday through Friday.
  • Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, emptying baskets, and removing debris.
  • Test and balance pool water chemistry, including chlorine, pH, and other chemical levels as needed.
  • Check water levels and inspect the overall condition of each pool before leaving.
  • Inspect pumps, motors, filters, heaters, plumbing, and other pool equipment and identify anything that looks or operates differently than it should.
  • Complete scheduled filter cleanings for customers on your route.
  • Safely handle and transport pool chemicals and supplies.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and smaller equipment repairs involving pumps, motors, filters, plumbing, and related equipment.
  • Communicate customer concerns, leaks, equipment problems, or other issues that need additional attention.
  • Pick up chemicals, parts, and supplies as needed for your route and occasionally for other company work.
  • Handle occasional customer follow-ups or service calls that come up during the workday.
  • Keep your work vehicle, tools, chemicals, and supplies clean and organized.
  • Communicate when vehicle maintenance, tires, fluids, tools, or supplies need attention.

What We’re Looking For

We care about experience, but how you work matters just as much.

The right person for this position is:

  • Reliable and trustworthy — shows up on time and ready to work.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing a route without constant supervision.
  • Detail-oriented and able to recognize when something isn’t right.
  • Efficient without sacrificing the quality of the work.
  • Willing to troubleshoot and problem-solve rather than immediately passing every issue along.
  • A good communicator who follows through when something needs attention.
  • Comfortable working independently while still being part of a small team.
  • Willing to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in Houston weather and performing physical, hands-on work.
  • Able to safely use common hand and power tools.

Pool service experience and mechanical knowledge are preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person.

A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required. Owning a reliable truck is a plus.

What Ownership Means at Pool Warriors

We don’t expect you to rush through a list of pools just to finish the route as quickly as possible.

When a route is yours, we want you to take responsibility for the customers, pools, and equipment you’re servicing. That means making sure each pool is properly taken care of, noticing when something isn’t right, communicating problems, and following through on what needs to happen next.

If your scheduled pools are complete and there’s another reasonable job that needs to be handled during the workday — whether that’s a customer follow-up, filter cleaning, supply pickup, or helping with a repair — we work together to get it handled.

At the same time, we value efficiency. As you learn the route, we want you to develop a good system, become increasingly independent, troubleshoot problems, and anticipate what needs to happen next.

What We Provide

  • $40,000–$50,000 annual pay, based on experience and ability
  • Consistent Monday–Friday schedule
  • Company truck, if needed
  • Fuel card for company vehicle
  • Tools provided
  • On-the-job training
  • Hands-on experience with pool equipment maintenance and repair
  • Opportunity to grow and take on additional responsibility
  • Small, team-oriented work environment

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company truck
  • On-the-job training
  • Tools provided
