Responsibilities

• Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain water clarity and hygiene.
• Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, balancing chemicals, and adjusting pH levels to ensure safe swimming conditions.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate repairs with appropriate tools and parts.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to repair or replace faulty equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs for each pool serviced.
• Identify potential issues early by conducting thorough inspections and recommend necessary preventative measures.
• Follow all safety protocols diligently while working around pools and electrical equipment to ensure a secure environment for yourself and clients.

Experience

• Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pool systems.
• Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing procedures.
• Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment repair methods in a maintenance setting.
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills for record keeping.
