Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, skimming, brushing, and vacuuming to keep pools sparkling clean.
• Monitor and adjust pool chemistry by balancing chemicals such as chlorine, pH levels, alkalinity, and stabilizers to ensure safe water quality.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and plumbing systems to identify issues early.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and application to maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct water treatment chemical handling with precision to maintain optimal water clarity and safety standards.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site visits and client service calls while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules, safety procedures, and pool chemistry status.
• Maintain detailed records of service visits, chemical usage, repairs performed, and equipment inspections for accountability and reporting purposes.

Skills

• Strong understanding of pool plumbing systems and mechanical components essential for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance practices including cleaning techniques and equipment upkeep.
• Experience with aquatic facility operations or similar outdoor work environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately balance pool chemistry.
• Excellent customer service skills to address client needs professionally and courteously.
• Familiarity with water treatment chemical handling regulations ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Mechanical knowledge that supports diagnosing issues with pool systems efficiently.
• Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
