Port Operative

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Port Operative to join our busy terminal operations team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting vessel, cargo, and vehicle operations within a fast-paced port environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, discharge, and handle cargo safely and efficiently.
• Support vessel, terminal, and port operations.
• Operate plant and equipment following training and authorisation.
• Carry out pre-use inspections and housekeeping duties.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Work collaboratively as part of a shift-based operational team.
• Assist with general port activities as required.

Pay: £31,126.00 per year
