Porter

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled porter to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition and appearance of the property while ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. The ideal candidate has experience in general maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the property including parking lots, walkways, breezeways, stairwells, and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness of amenities such as pool areas, clubhouse, laundry rooms, and fitness center
• Assist with daily groundskeeping duties such as sweeping, blowing leaves, and pressure washing as needed
• Help prepare units for new residents (trash removal, light cleaning, etc.)
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Assist maintenance staff with tasks when needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance shop organization

Qualifications

• Previous porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience is a plus but not required
• HVAC certification (EPA certification a preferred)
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and stairs, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
