1. Job Summary

We are seeking a courteous, physically fit, and service-oriented Hotel Porter to assist guests with their luggage, provide directions, and support the smooth delivery of guest services. The successful candidate will ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable while maintaining a professional appearance and excellent customer service standards.

2. Job Description

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with their luggage.
• Transport guests' luggage to and from their rooms safely and efficiently.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain basic room facilities when necessary.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage from vehicles.
• Provide directions and information about hotel facilities and services.
• Assist with guest requests, including arranging transportation when required.
• Deliver messages, parcels, and items to guest rooms and hotel departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
• Handle guests' belongings carefully and ensure their safety.
• Coordinate with the front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and security teams.
• Report lost property, damaged luggage, safety hazards, or unusual activities to management.
• Assist elderly guests and guests with disabilities when needed.
• Follow hotel procedures for luggage storage, guest privacy, and security.
• Perform other duties assigned by hotel management.

3. Requirements/Skills

• Minimum of a secondary school certificate; additional hospitality training is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a hotel porter, bell attendant, or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage safely.
• Friendly, polite, trustworthy, and customer-focused.
• Neat appearance and professional conduct.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
• Good attention to detail and respect for guest privacy.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₦70,000.00 per month
