Porter/cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Porter/Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team.

The role of the Porter is to perform daily tasks to maintain and improve the appearance of our multi-family and commercial properties, including but not limited to:

• Trash removal and clean-up of the common grounds
• Minor tree trimming
• Touch-up painting
• Pressure washing
• Freshen up cleaning prior to resident move-in
• Stock supplies at common area restrooms
• Light cleaning of common areas

The Porter works closely with the manager to ensure resident satisfaction and that the appearance of the property is in excellent condition.

The Porter must have the following qualities and experience:

• Self-motivated & able to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Team player
• Positive & proactive attitude
• General knowledge of basic cleaning supplies as well as tools and equipment, including a pressure washer, chainsaw and blower
• Knowledge of irrigation repairs is a plus
• Able to safely lift, carry and move heavy items (such as appliances)

A valid drivers license is required.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
