We are searching for a friendly, service-oriented Porter/Guest Experience Agent to continue our success at both of our JFK locations (in Terminal 4 and Terminal 8)! Please visit www.minutesuites.com to see our exciting and growing concept.

In addition to performing the tasks of a Guest Experience Agent, we are looking for someone willing and able to assist with receiving, transporting, unloading, and stocking retail items for guests to purchase. ***NOTE: the nature of this role will involve lifting of boxes in the 30-50lb. range onto a cart/dolly, safely transporting the boxes to the location through the terminal, etc.

We are seeking a Porter/Guest Experience Agent that will directly impact the travel experience by settling our guests into private suites inside the airport, in addition to safely managing shipment receipt and delivery to the location. This is a progressive company that celebrates diverse people all around the world. Working with the location leaders, you will ensure a smooth and seamless operation for all that you engage with.

Responsibilities include:

• At the scheduling/direction of the General Manager, product shipments will be retrieved from the loading dock.
• Those shipments will be loaded onto a flatbed cart and delivered to the location.
• Products may need to be unboxed, unpacked, organized, stored, and/or displayed with the guidance of the General Manager.
• All packing slips from each shipment need to be carefully handled and given to the General Manager.
• Care must always be exercised when moving the flatbed cart throughout the terminal, paying special attention to travelers, walls, fixtures, etc.
• Creating and delivering memorable guest experiences
• Partnering with location leaders to strengthen our business practices to align our First-Class workplace across the organization
• Building strong internal relationships in the airport to create and maintain a friendly neighborhood
• Cultivating a positive and collaborative team environment, helping to motivate others
• Engaging in great attention to detail with quality assurance being a priority for our guests and products
• A commitment to safety and cleanliness for every guest in our ‘Clean & Serene’® environment*
• Learning product knowledge and utilizing resources to upsell our merchandise and services
• Performing other duties as assigned
