We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Porter to join our team at a luxury residential community in Franklin Park. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, clubhouses, and leasing offices.
• Keep building entrances, sidewalks, parking lots, and grounds clean and free of debris.
• Assist with trash and recycling collection and ensure dumpsters and compactor areas remain clean and organized.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, painting touch-ups, and minor repairs.
• Assist the maintenance team with apartment turnovers, repairs, and general property upkeep.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Deliver excellent customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• Previous porter, janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Must be willing to be on-call on weekends on a rotating basis.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
