What they need
ABOUT ROYAL FLAGSHIP
Royal Flagship funds, operates and scales consumer brands on the world's largest online marketplaces.
Our model is different. We don't take equity and we don't charge our brand partners fees. Instead, we put our own capital behind the brands we believe in: we buy their inventory, run their marketplace operations and help take their products global.
We only win when the brands we work with win.
Inc. named Royal Flagship the #11 fastest-growing ecommerce company in America in 2023—and we're still just getting started.
THE ROLE
This isn't a role where you wait for someone to hand you a task list.
You'll own a portfolio of brands selling across some of the world's largest marketplaces and be responsible for making that portfolio better every day.
You'll launch new products and listings, optimize existing ones to rank higher and sell more, and monitor the health and performance of everything you manage. When something goes wrong—a suppressed listing, lost Buy Box, compliance issue or unauthorized seller—you'll be the person who catches it early and drives it toward resolution.
But the job goes beyond maintaining listings.
You'll dig into data, competitors and marketplaces to find opportunities others might miss. You'll recommend new products, bundles, variations and channels. When an idea gets the green light, you'll help turn it into something real.
And as Royal Flagship grows, you'll help build the team itself—working directly with leadership to create better systems, smarter processes and a Portfolio Management function that gets stronger as we scale.
If you like ownership, solving difficult problems and seeing the direct impact of your work, you'll probably like this role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own your listings. Create new listings from UPCs and keep existing listings accurate, competitive and optimized. Write titles, bullets, descriptions and keywords grounded in search and trend data, and work with our Studio team to keep copy and creative aligned.
- Defend your portfolio. Be the first to catch suppressions, deactivations, lost Buy Boxes, compliance flags, unauthorized sellers and other risks. Flag problems quickly, develop a clear plan with leadership when needed, and drive cases through resolution.
- Find growth. Analyze each brand, its products and its competitive landscape to identify opportunities for new products, variations, bundles and marketplaces. Build data-backed recommendations and manage approved launches through go-live.
- Build our knowledge. Document solved cases in our Tribal Knowledge Library so the next person facing the same problem can solve it faster.
- Support brand relationships. Request information and assets from brand partners, communicate relevant updates, and participate in brand meetings alongside leadership.
- Improve how we work. Look for ways to make Portfolio Management simpler, faster and easier to scale through better processes, documentation, automation and tools.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Marketplace experience. You've worked hands-on in Amazon Seller Central and understand listing creation, flat files, catalog issues and case management. Experience with additional marketplaces is a plus.
- An owner mindset. You treat the portfolio you manage like it's your own business. You notice when something isn't right and take initiative to figure out what to do about it.
- Commercial curiosity. You don't just maintain listings—you want to understand why something is selling, why something isn't, and where the next opportunity might be.
- Data-driven thinking. You're comfortable working with search data, BSR, pricing, competitors and marketplace trends and turning what you find into a clear recommendation.
- Strong writing. You can write listing copy designed to rank and convert, as well as clear, persuasive case language when working through marketplace issues.
- Persistence and organization. Some marketplace problems are solved in five minutes. Others take five weeks and ten follow-ups. You're comfortable with both—and you don't let the second kind disappear.
- Clear communication. You work well across teams, communicate problems clearly and keep the right people informed without needing to be chased.
- A builder mentality. You want to help improve the company around you, not just perform the job exactly as it exists today.
WHAT WE OFFER
- $65,000-$80,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
- $5,000 annual health stipend.
- Annual performance bonus opportunity of up to 10% of base salary, based on individual and company performance.
- A defined career path. Our Portfolio Management track extends from Portfolio Manager I through Director, with opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation as you develop and the team grows.
- Real ownership. You'll manage brands and products where your decisions have a visible impact on performance.
- Access to leadership. You'll work directly with company leadership on portfolio decisions, growth opportunities and improvements to how we operate.
- A company that's still being built. We're growing, which means many of the systems, processes and ideas that define Royal Flagship five years from now haven't been created yet. You'll have the opportunity to help create them.
