[Porto] AI Quality Assurance Engineer

Our QA Integration Team is responsible for identifying and resolving compatibility issues, communication errors, and data corruption to ensure smooth and reliable software integration. The team is central to reducing risk by catching defects early, validating interface behaviors against design specifications, and maintaining the integrity of existing systems through automated regression testing.

We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong background in integration testing and a genuine interest in leveraging AI technologies to improve testing processes.

The role combines traditional QA responsibilities with AI-driven approaches to test automation, defect detection, and failure prediction, operating within a banking or brokerage environment.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience testing backend or middleware applications

• Experience in banking or brokerage systems strongly preferred

• Hands-on experience with AI testing tools (automated test generation, anomaly detection)

• Proven track record in root cause analysis - log analysis, diagnostic tools, collaboration with dev teams

• Experience working in Linux environments (shell commands, scripting, process management, troubleshooting)

Goals and deliverables

• Design and execute comprehensive integration test plans, including automated testing strategies

• Use AI tools to automate test case generation, defect detection, and regression testing

• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve integration issues, incorporating AI-driven insights where relevant

• Validate AI components within trading platforms and apply machine learning models to predict failures and optimise testing coverage

• Identify, document, and track defects; verify fixes through systematic regression testing

• Produce detailed testing reports, metrics, risk assessments, and AI-driven insights

• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and mentor junior QA engineers

• Promote AI-powered testing practices and share knowledge across teams
