Position PMC Engineer / Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

A. Project Planning and Coordination

•    Support the development of a detailed project schedule with milestones using Microsoft Project (MSP) or Primavera.

•    Facilitate coordination between the client, architects, consultants, and contractors.

•    Review and monitor architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape drawings.

•    Validate area statements and technical specifications of the BOQs prepared by the cost consultants.

B. Construction Supervision and Management

•    Oversee daily site activities to ensure adherence to the approved project schedule.

•    Monitor quality control and compliance with the approved BOQ specifications.

•    Track site progress against the baseline program, report any deviations to the client, and recommend corrective measures to get back on track.

•    Coordinate between the client, consultants, and contractors to resolve site issues.

•    Ensure strict safety compliance across all site activities undertaken by the contractor.

•    Conduct regular site inspections and audits, and provide dedicated safety reports.

C. Documentation and Reporting

•    Submit weekly and monthly progress reports to the client.

•    Maintain audit-ready documentation concerning approvals, drawings, and payments.

•    Provide clear dashboards highlighting project status, potential risks, and mitigation measures.

D. Handover and Closure

•    Ensure full completion of snag lists and all final inspections.

•    Oversee testing, commissioning, and acquisition of statutory clearances.

•    Assist in preparing the final project completion report and support the client with final handover to customers.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

•    Working proficiency in Microsoft Project (MSP) or Primavera for scheduling and tracking.

•    Strong command of MS Excel / MS Office for reporting and data tracking.

•    Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape drawings.

•    Working knowledge of BOQs, area statements, and technical specifications.

•    Hands-on site supervision, quality control, and inspection experience.

•    Familiarity with HSE / safety management practices on construction sites.

•    Comfortable working with digital PMC tracking tools (in-house PMC application provided by the company).

Soft Skills

•    Strong coordination and stakeholder communication across client, architect, consultant, and contractor teams.

•    Structured and disciplined approach to documentation and reporting.

•    Problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend corrective action under time pressure.

•    Ability to work independently on-site while reporting progress to the Sr. HOD / Project Manager.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in construction site execution, project engineering, or PMC/PMO roles.

• Prior exposure to scheduling tools (MSP/Primavera), BOQ/drawing review, and site progress reporting is essential.

• Willingness to be based full-time at the project site in Bengaluru.

Work Arrangement

• Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, with a 1-hour lunch break (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM).

• Sunday is the weekly off; alternate Saturdays are off (staggered across the team to ensure site presence).

• Standard holiday calendar and leave policy apply; long leave to be planned in advance except in emergencies.

• Office space, workstation, and support facilities are provided at the project site by the client (as directed by the Company), as per the PMC Service Agreement
