At Shropshire Adventures Academy, we do education a little differently. Forget being confined to four classroom walls, our classroom stretches across 30 acres of beautiful Shropshire countryside, complete with horses, woodland, a lake and endless opportunities for adventure.

We're looking for an exceptional Post-16 Teacher to join our small, passionate and ambitious team, helping young people with additional needs develop the skills, confidence and independence to thrive in adult life.

Shropshire Adventures Academy is a specialist Post-16 provision supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Our approach is personal, practical and built around the individual.

With under 10 student places, we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, supportive environment where strong relationships and individual achievements are at the heart of everything we do.

Our programme focuses on preparation for adulthood, combining essential life skills, English and Maths Functional Skills with hands-on learning through equine studies, outdoor adventure and real-life experiences.

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,020.00 per year
