Summary

Postdoctoral Fellow Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute is proud to be the first Florida’s National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center located in Tampa. • Moffitt integrates excellent patient care with cutting-edge clinical and basic research. Having a cancer hospital on-site provides unique opportunities for translational research.
• You will be encouraged and supported to apply for training grants. Responsibilities:
• Work with PI on the project planning; design and conduct experiments independently; document and organize the data routinely.
• Learn and develop research techniques and lab protocols.
• Develop scientific writing and presentation skills.
• Work with collaborators and core facility staff on interdisciplinary experiments.
• Supervise research assistants and graduate students. Credentials and Qualifications:
• MD or PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Genetics or related.
• Should have at least one first Author publication.

Salary Range

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
