Post Frame crewman

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced, motivated and skilled Post Frame Crewmen to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the erection of metal and wood post frame buildings, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. You will work closely with experienced crew members to learn the ins and outs of post frame construction, including framing, siding, roofing, and finishing touches. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in various construction disciplines while contributing to exciting building projects.

Duties

• Assist in the assembly and erection of post frame buildings using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
• Help with framing activities such as woodworking, trim carpentry, metal siding, and roofing installation
• Operate heavy equipment safely to move materials and assist with site preparation
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate construction
• Perform general construction tasks
• Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for various carpentry tasks while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry, or metal building erection is preferred
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is highly advantageous
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus
• Knowledge of rebar metal roofing and siding is desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced construction setting

Pay: $27.40 - $35.00 per hour
