Duties

• Erect metal buildings and frameworks according to detailed construction plans and schematics
• Install concrete forms and rebar for foundations, walls, and other structural elements
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate framing and construction
• Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently on-site
• Measure dimensions accurately using carpentry tools to ensure precise framing and alignment
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
• Collaborate with project managers, masons, welders, and other trades to coordinate tasks effectively
• Assist with remodeling, restoration, siding, roofing, drywall installation, and finishing as needed
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications

Skills

• Extensive experience in metal building erection and frame carpentry
• Proficiency in concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and site safety protocols
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and woodworking machinery
• Knowledge of masonry work including plastering, stucco application, siding installation, and roofing systems
• Experience interpreting technical drawings for framing layouts using dimensional measurements
• Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining quality standards
• Familiarity with metal stud framing systems and drywall installation processes
• Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on precision and safety standards
