Post Medical Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitates new and follow up patients and acts as a front liner
• Check and verifies presented documents including, referral forms and repatriation documents from hospitals abroad and from the ship. and documents from other clinics
• Uploads documents of the patient from the start until to end of treatment (referral, reports, results, certificates)
• Orients the new patient on the policies and procedures of Ship to Shore Medical Assist.
• Facilitates scheduling for approved recommended plans from doctors (diagnostics, procedures, PT, consultations)
• Coordinates with the post medical doctor and accounting with regards to patients need
• Keeps the Progress Notes updated by ensuring all medical transactions/procedures are updated including remarks on cancelled schedules of appointments/consults or procedures, approval, change of schedules etc.
• Emails company/insurance/principal for approval, updates, non appearances

Qualifications:

• Preferably Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Graduate of any health-related course
• Amenable to work onsite
